The International Tax Dialogue (ITD) is a collaborative arrangement involving the European Commission (EC), the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB),
the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), United Kingdom Department for International Development (UK-DFID) and World Bank (WB) to encourage and facilitate discussion of tax matters among national tax officials, international organisations, and a range of other key stakeholders.
In addition to global conferences, one of the ITD’s central resources for facilitating dialogue is the ITD website at www.itdweb.org. The site includes a virtual library of 3000 documents shared by countries and international and regional organisations as well as news, a calendar of events, an extensive range of links and a directory of technical assistance/policy dialogue activities. All countries are invited to make use of this resources and to share their own information. More information on the aims, objectives and activities of the ITD can also be found on the site.
